“What I love about my field segments are the great people you meet. This segment was so much fun! I was introduced to Mandy Oser – owner of Ardesia a fabulous wine bar in the theater district. She was so helpful in letting us use her wine bar as a backdrop that it really made this segment shine.
I love working with Christal Young from Good Day NY, she is fun, energetic, and very vivacious. When you watch her, you can taste and feel what she is describing. This segment was a variety of bubbles to have this Vday. I was working again with Zachary Sussman who is just a pleasure to work with- and is filled with great knowledge.
When creating a segment, you want to create a visual that has the viewer engaged while watching. With the great backdrop like Ardesia, setting the table in the middle of bar gave great depth. Using some props like the chocolate heart boxes with a cheese board also lends to the visuals and packages the story.
One thing that lacks today- is the personal side of people. We all sat around after having some food and bubbles, but what was most important was the building of relationships while being face to face. I like to think that’s what makes me and my company different- is just being real.”
